The construction industry welcomed metal at the end of the 19th century. The development of steel later within the era permitted construction to test the boundaries of height. The presence of such material across the architectural landscape increasingly became popular, and over time developed an identity with modernism.
Our super slab porcelain tiles clutch onto the unique nuances of metal that has deteriorated over time. Such corrosion is formed when a metal is exposed to the elements. The wonderful process is called oxidisation, and the appearance across the various stages is distinct.
The large surface area that the tiles present allow for the imaginative movement of oxidisation to come to life. The tones available are also carefully selected to represent the multiple shades that metal can be seen in whilst it transforms into the exemplary finish.
Finesse Tiles provide porcelain tiles from our showroom in Stotfold, Bedfordshire & St Ives, Cambridgeshire.
